It was here she her talent as an actress and gifted singer shone. In 1994, Patricia Temitope Alabi joined the Alade Aromire Theartre group. She has had many working experiences among which are: worked as a correspondent with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) Ibadan and also in Centre-spread Advertising Limited, Lagos. It was where she had her first experience and training in music and drama. Tope Alabi had shown interest in music and drama from her childhood days that she joined “Jesters International” (Jacob, Papilolo & Aderupoko) group at Ibadan. She then studied Mass Communication at Ibadan Polytechnic and had her HND in 1990. Tope had her secondary education at Oba Akinyele Memorial High School in Ibadan during which she obtained her West Africa School Certificate (WAEC) in 1986. Although she hails from Ogun state, her parents Pa Joseph Akinyele Obayomi and Madam Agnes Kehinde Obayomi brought her up in a Christian home as the only daughter in the family. Also known as Agbo Jesu, Tope Alabi was born on 27th December, 1970 in Lagos.
